Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Vernon Leon Steele of Erda, Utah, born in Weiser, Idaho, who passed away at the age of 79, on July 7, 2021. 

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Louise Ada Aldred and Jesse Wayne Steele; his wife Allison Harrod of Virginia; his children, Lonny Steele (Kathleen) and Lisa McBride (Darrus); his siblings, Dorothy Whitehead, Richard Grout (Verdella), Steve Grout (Sandy) and Peggy Grigg (Sam); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Harrod, Tom Harrod (Carol), Larry Harrod (Kathy), Sherri Hironaka (Dennis) and Bob Harrod. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.
